Welcome to
Welcome to St. Peter's CE Primary Academy. Since opening our doors in September 2018, we have grown from a small school with three classes, three teachers and three teaching assistants into a thriving two form entry primary academy, now educating almost 400 children.
Although we are proud of our rapid growth and the excellent outcomes our pupils achieve, we believe our greatest success is reflected in the children themselves. Visitors regularly comment on their kindness, confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Our aim has always been to create not only successful learners but good people who make a positive difference to their community.
At St. Peter's, we provide a broad, ambitious and knowledge rich curriculum that inspires children to think deeply, communicate confidently and develop a lifelong love of learning. Alongside academic excellence, we place equal importance on character, wellbeing and personal development, ensuring every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils' achievements, our inspection outcomes and the vibrant learning community we have built together. However, the best way to understand what makes St. Peter's special is to visit us.
We would be delighted to welcome you and show you our school in action.

This morning, members of our pupil parliament enjoyed meeting with Helen and Sophie from Salisbury District Hospital to share ideas and help shape the experiences of young people. A wonderful example of our value of community in action. We're excited to be building an ongoing partnership, with lots more opportunities coming next year!
We are so proud of our amazing drama club for their performance at Salisbury Playhouse! They have been rehearsing every week since September and last night got to show their family and friends all their hard work. They did their own version of Macbeth, which was great for our Year 6s who learned about it earlier in the year, and did an incredible job. We definitely have some future actors in our midst!

Big dreams start with seeing what's possible! Today, a group of our Year 5 and 6 pupils had the exciting opportunity to visit Southampton University. From exploring the campus to finding out more about university life, the visit encouraged our children to think about the many opportunities that could be open to them in the future and live out our value of aspiration. We loved seeing their curiosity, enthusiasm and thoughtful questions throughout the day. Thank you so much to University of Southampton for hosting us and inspiring our pupils. #Aspiration #DreamBig #FutureGoals

Reception were treated to an art exhibition this afternoon! Year 6 were looking at installation art using light and made artwork that was designed to be immersive. After they finished this week, Marshwood and Little Durnford were invited up to be their audience; they got to look at all of the artwork and give feedback about how it made them feel.

A huge well done to all our runners who took part in the Salisbury Schools Mini Marathon on Saturday! Everyone showed great resilience and determination, especially in running up the hills. A special shout out to our Year 5/6 boys' team for coming in first place overall, our Year 3/4 boys' team for coming in third place overall, Travis in Year 4 for coming in second place in his race and Ms Brady for winning hers. Another St Peter's sporting triumph

It was such a pleasure to take our referees on a special trip to see @salisburyfootballclub play on Saturday! We were lucky enough to get to sit in the dug-out, meet the match referees and the players and even go onto the pitch for a photo with everyone just before kick-off. It was a lovely afternoon in the sun, made even better with a Salisbury win! Thank you so much to Salisbury FC for making it such a great day.
